Ty Segall stays hard at work

Garage rock wunderkind Ty Segall just can’t stop making records. Hot on the heels of “Melted,” a barnstorming psych-rock attack from Goner Records, he had a breakthrough in 2011 with his fifth long-player in four years (that’s not counting the live album and numerous singles). “Goodbye Bread” presents a quieter, more reflective and melodic version of the youthful rocker. The El Rey Theatre, 5515 Wilshire Blvd., L.A. 8 p.m. Sat. $17. theelrey.com.
