Suzanne Somers’ son lists Brentwood manse
Bruce Somers Jr. -- the son of the age-defying, menopause-stomping, fitness and self-help guru Suzanne Somers -- has listed his Brentwood home for $3,295,000.
Somers wrote and produced several of his mom’s videos, including “Somersize Part 1, Suzanne Somers: Eat Great, Lose Weight” and “Somersize Part 2, Suzanne Somers: Think Great, Look Great.” Now if only there were a sequel in which you could eat a Somersized pizza and still look like his mama.
The house, French Normandy in style with four bedrooms and three bathrooms in 3,304 square feet, has a vine-and-rose-covered entry. There are wide-plank walnut floors, reclaimed French pavers, nickel rain shower heads and an English claw-foot tub. The balconies are of ornate wrought iron, and there are antique doors and hand-carved fireplace mantels. The chef’s kitchen has a Wolf range and Sub-Zero refrigerator.
Somers is an owner of Sincbox Media, a direct-response marketing firm.
Anthony Marguleas of Amalfi Estates, Pacific Palisades, is the listing agent.
