Actor George Newbern lists Cheviot Hills home at $2,095,000
When the voice of Superman speaks, I know I listen. George Newbern, who voiced the Man of Steel in the animated TV adventures “Static Shock,” “Justice League,” “Justice League Unlimited” and “The Batman,” has listed his Cheviot Hills Cape Cod at $2,095,000.
The two-story house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms in 3,250 square feet. The home is set high up on a knoll, providing city lights and a green-belt view. There is a step-down living room with a fireplace and a large picture window overlooking the gardens. The formal dining room opens to the patio area and the chef’s kitchen features custom cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast nook. There are hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout.
Newbern, 44, braved Krypton in 58 episodes of “Justice League” from 2001 to ’06. He has had an active TV career, playing Owen Frank in 21 episodes of “Providence” in 2002 and portraying “Ditto” Roberts in 20 episodes of “Bull” from 2000 to 2001. He has also appeared in “Boston Legal,” “Las Vegas,” “Without a Trace,” “CSI: Miami,” “CSI: New York,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
