Television and film director Michelle MacLaren, who is set to helm the upcoming “Wonder Woman” movie, has put her home in Hollywood Hills West on the market at $3.5 million.
The Robert Byrd-designed residence, on more than half an acre in Nichols Canyon, was previously owned by comedic actor Larry Storch and his late wife, actress Norma Catherine Greve. MacLaren purchased the property from the couple in 1997 for $730,000.
Built in 1955, the two-story floor plan has hand-hewn beam ceilings, wood built-ins, a circular dining area and a living room with a brick-lined fireplace.
Among features is a main-floor master suite with a sauna that opens onto a patio and pool area. An additional, second-floor master bedroom has heated marble flooring and a private balcony.
MacLaren, who owns other property in the Nichols Canyon area, gained recognition for her work on the science fiction drama “X-Files.” More recently, she has worked on the TV shows “Breaking Bad” and “Game of Thrones” as well as the upcoming “Breaking Bad” spinoff, “Better Call Saul.”
Billy Rose and Jonathan Ruiz of the Agency are the listing agents.
