Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb sells home in Silver Lake

Music video and film director Marc Webb has sold his home in Silver Lake for $1.25 million.

Set on a hilltop, the home enjoys views of the reservoir and city from its location in Moreno Highlands. Built in 1947, dark hardwood flooring and arched windows run throughout the updated floor plan.

Found within the 2,109 square feet of living space are a chef’s kitchen with marble countertops, a living room with a wet bar and a fireplace, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A secluded patio with a fountain and a formal living room with detailed wallpaper and wainscoting are among the features.

Webb, 39, counts “500 Days of Summer” (2009) and “The Amazing Spider-Man” franchise among his credits. He announced in March that he would not direct any future Spider-Man movies following the release of “The Amazing Spider-Man 3,” which is scheduled for 2018.

Records show that the director purchased the property in 2005 for $1.101 million. He had asked as much as $1.35 million when he listed the home for sale in March.

The property was co-listed by Boni Bryant and Joe Reichling of Sotheby’s International Realty and Jenna Cooper of Teles Properties. Nicole Bray of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer, L.A.-based artist and designer David Wiseman, in the sale, which closed in late July.
