Up next for UCLA: Thursday vs. Oregon State
VS. OREGON STATE
When: 8.
Where: Pauley Pavilion.
On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 570.
Records: UCLA 12-14 overall, 7-7 Pacific 10 Conference; Oregon State 12-14, 6-8.
Update: The Bruins are beat up and are without forwards James Keefe (shoulder surgery) and Reeves Nelson (partially torn retina), while forward Brendan Lane (sprained ankle) is questionable. Oregon State is a respectable 4-3 in its last seven games, with victories over Pac-10 leader California, third-place USC and middle-of-the pack Arizona -- though that was in Tucson, normally a difficult road game to win. The Bruins beat the Beavers, 62-52, in Corvallis but had to sweat things a bit in the first half. The Beavers rank third among conference teams in field-goal-percentage defense (42.5%); UCLA ranks ninth (44.8%).
