Ducks have no answer for Flames’ Jarome Iginla in 3-1 loss

Calgary, Canada — Jarome Iginla scored twice in the second period, and Miikka Kiprusoff made 26 saves in the Calgary Flames’ 3-1 victory over the Ducks on Saturday night.
Iginla gave the Flames a 2-1 lead at 2 minutes 42 seconds of the second period, and added his 27th goal of the season with 6:02 left in the period. He has six goals in his last 10 games after scoring once in his previous 15 games.
Both goals came against Jonas Hiller, the goalie Iginla probably will face Thursday night when Canada plays Switzerland in the Olympics.
Troy Bodie opened the scoring for Anaheim, and Calgary’s Eric Nystrom tied it with 3:18 left in the first period.
