Two elderly sisters charged with selling $10,000 worth of heroin apiece each week from their trailer homes will go to trial after waiving their right to a preliminary hearing.
Police said Elizabeth Marie Grube, 70, and her sister, Elaine Volkert, 65, sold heroin in Stroud Township. An Allentown man, Julio Cesar Checo, 28, is also charged.
All are charged with possession of drugs with the intent to deliver, conspiracy and a related offense involving a cellphone.
The sisters were released on unsecured bail; Checo was jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail.
