Shares of J. Crew Group Inc. rose 8% in late trading after the company forecast earnings that were higher than analysts’ estimates.
Profit excluding some items will be as much as 12 cents a share in the first quarter, the New York company said. Analysts project 8 cents, according to a Bloomberg survey.
J. Crew shares climbed 78 cents to $10.50 in extended trading after rising 36 cents to $9.72 in regular trading.
