at New York 4, Colorado 0: Mike Pelfrey pitched into the seventh inning, often working out of trouble, and the Mets won their fourth straight game.
at Florida 4, Atlanta 3: Ross Gload’s pinch-hit two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth won it for the Marlins.
San Diego 3, at Cincinnati 2: Kevin Kouzmanoff doubled twice and delivered a tiebreaking sacrifice in the top of the seventh inning for the Padres.
Washington 8, at Milwaukee 3: Nyjer Morgan, Adam Dunn and Cristian Guzman homered for the Nationals, who won their fourth straight, matching their longest win streak this year.
Philadelphia 4, at Arizona 3: Cole Hamels gave up one run and four hits and struck out nine in eight innings.
at San Francisco 3, Pittsburgh 2: Eugenio Velez, who’d homered earlier, hit a tiebreaking RBI double in the sixth.
at St. Louis 10, Dodgers 0: Chad Billingsley blinked first in a duel with Adam Wainwright, and the Cardinals scored six runs in the sixth inning.
