NATIONAL BRIEFING / FLORIDA
TIMES WIRE REPORTS
After 11 days in orbit, Endeavour undocked from the International Space Station and headed for Cape Canaveral. The departure ended the biggest off-planet gathering ever: 13 people. Seven astronauts left on the shuttle.
“You made us bigger and better, and we were really glad to have you here,” station resident Michael Barratt told them. “It seems awfully quiet here now without you.”
Shuttle touchdown is set for Friday.
