Firms should reverse charges

Re: David Lazarus’ consumer column “Time Warner and the silly fee,” June 28:
I have been asking my phone company for many years why they charge $1.75 a month for unlisted numbers. They always skirt around the answer saying truly nothing that justifies the charge.
They should be giving customers who have unlisted numbers credit because we save them ink and paper for not printing our numbers.
