I enjoyed Amanda Jones’ article on Peru [“An Amazon Adventure,” April 12], but I feel I must respond. I have been to the Amazon, also on a small cruise ship. It was an experience I will never forget. But I would have been very resentful if two uncontrolled teenagers were allowed to disrupt the Amazon experience, either by their parents or the tour operator. Let them stay home until they grow up.
