Former Judge Jim Gray is right: The war on drugs has failed and will continue to fail.
I was born and raised in the Netherlands. The legalization of pot there has only benefited the Dutch people and economy. America should take a good look at the Dutch system.
Legalizing pot could mean no more violence from the drug cartels. It could provide tax revenue that could offset our deficit by billions of dollars. Also, if pot were more easily available, fewer people might feel the need to try it.
It’s only common sense to legalize marijuana.
