Man hit by train dies of injuries

A man who was hit by a Blue Line train in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday evening has died of his injuries, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Witnesses on Saturday said the 54-year-old man appeared to step in front of the train.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was the 91st person to be killed by the Blue Line since it opened in 1990, according to the MTA. The agency says 20 of those deaths were suicides.
