Gobbles and guffaws

Joel Pett is the Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist of the Lexington Herald-Leader. His work also appears in USA Today.
Cartoonists are already looking ahead to the holiday, feasting on a diet of stuffed shirts, political hot potatoes, financial gravy trains and a full buffet of just deserts. Mike Luckovich’s luckless fowl spurns a side dish of blustery barracuda (who knew Pilgrims had flat-screens?).
According to Mike Peters, the Alaska guv wasn’t the only one bursting at the seams with hot air. And pardon Rob Rogers if he rains on Dubya’s parade, taking a few final swipes of the satirical ax before the 44th prez sets a new table.
