at New York 12-1, Cincinnati 6-7: Bronson Arroyo pitched eight dominant innings to give the Reds a split of the day-night doubleheader. In the opener, Carlos Beltran drove in five runs to lead the Mets.
at Chicago 7, Arizona 2: Alfonso Soriano hit a go-ahead double during a six-run seventh inning, and Kosuke Fukudome hit his first home run since opening day to cap the rally.

Houston 5, at Dodgers 0: Chris Sampson pitched three-hit ball over seven innings.
