The Whole Truth

The new Whole Foods Market project is a welcome addition to Pasadena’s Transit Oriented District. It seems strange that Christopher Hawthorne’s article (“The Green Giant,” April 6) almost completely ignores the urban and architectural virtues of this major postmodernist building in favor of a completely tangential philosophical rant about how overwhelmed he was by both the store’s interior scale and organic product variety, and how inconsistent he believes this Whole Foods Market is with his own personal ideological presumptions.
