No fun if you live in Burbank

Burbank’s focus on development is wonderful, unless you live there. (“NBC lot to get a massive remake,” May 1.)
The city is becoming a jumble of overdevelopment that the current infrastructure cannot support. Traffic is worse than ever. The constant construction noise of the never-ending projects along the corridor makes for an early-morning alarm clock.
Though city coffers and the studios will benefit, the citizens are being shortchanged.
More traffic congestion and more noise pollution are surely not what the citizens of Burbank were hoping for when the 1966 master plan was created.
