Bicyclist, 14, dies after hitting truck

A 14-year-old boy was killed when a semi-truck hit the bicycle he was riding on Poplar Street, police said Tuesday.
Esteban Nunez apparently was listening to an iPod music player when he rode into the path of the truck west of St. Andrew Place about 7 p.m. Monday, police said.
The cause of the accident was under investigation, said a spokesman for the Santa Ana Police Department.
