The Chapin Sisters, an L.A.-based folk-pop trio, will perform at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood at Universal CityWalk on Thursday to help promote Hard Rock’s charity fund-raising CD “Serve3,” featuring music by Bruce Springsteen, Avril Lavigne, DMC, the Charlatans and others.
Tickets are $5 and go on sale at the site at 7 p.m. Thursday, with the performance at 8 p.m. Patrons are also asked to donate canned goods and other non-perishable foods.
Proceeds from the concert and the CD will go to World Hunger Year, a nonprofit group that works to alleviate poverty and hunger around the world.
