Charter gets Nasdaq notice

Charter Communications Inc., the cable operator controlled by Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen, said it had received a notice from Nasdaq after its Class A shares closed below $1 for 30 consecutive business days.
Charter may fall short of Nasdaq listing requirements if the shares don’t close at or above $1 for 10 business days in a row, the St. Louis-based cable operator said.
