Toyota to recall Lexus, Camry mats

Toyota Motor Corp. will recall “all-weather” floor mats used in 2007 Lexus ES 350 and Camry vehicles in response to complaints that they can slip forward and trap the accelerator pedal, U.S. regulators said.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration urged drivers of other Toyota vehicles to check accessory mats to ensure they are properly installed.
The recall involves more than 30,000 mats for the ES 350 and more than 24,000 for the Camry.
NHTSA data show 40 complaints for the ES 350 believed to be related to the problem.
