There’s something to be said for humility
Why is it so difficult for the Williams sisters to admit they were outplayed by their opponents?
Venus says she lost to Henin because she was ill. Serena says her problem was she played poorly and Henin hit a lot of lucky shots. Anybody can be a gracious winner. You can tell a lot more about a person’s character by how they handle losing.

Justine Henin defeats Serena Williams in the U.S. Open and the next day the L.A. Times has a picture of Serena Williams on Pages 1 and 8 of the sports section, but no picture of Henin.
Justine Henin defeats Venus Williams at the U.S. Open a few days later and Venus Williams gets her picture on the front page of the paper and Page 1 of the sports section the next day. Again, no picture of Justine Henin anywhere.
Can someone please explain that to me?
