2 men arrested in fatal stabbing at fairgrounds
Two 21-year-old men have been arrested in the stabbing death of a 20-year-old man at the Perris Fairgrounds on Sunday evening, authorities said.
Felipe Larios and Edgar Mejia, both of Rubidoux, were fighting with Gustavo Medina-Cruz of Anaheim when one stabbed Medina-Cruz in the chest, said Riverside County Sheriff’s Investigator Denver Saucier.
The fight broke out about 9:20 p.m. at the fairgrounds in the 18700 block of Lake Perris Boulevard. Medina-Cruz was taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:52 p.m.
Larios and Mejia were booked at Riverside County’s Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of murder.
