Re “Democratic fundraiser is a fugitive in plain sight,” Aug. 29
The article concerning Norman Hsu’s dual life as a fugitive from justice and big-time Democratic fundraiser was hilarious.
He “honed the practice of assembling packets of checks from contributors who bear little resemblance to the usual Democratic deep pockets” and “focused on delivering hefty contributions from citizens who live modest lives and are neophytes in the world of campaign giving.” It reads like a defense attorney’s pleadings at a sentencing hearing, not an objective account of Hsu’s actions.
