An Inglewood man killed his wife and daughter before committing suicide, police and Los Angeles County coroner’s officials said Thursday.
Alfredo Rocha Rodriguez, 69, whom officials described as “despondent,” called police at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, threatening to kill his wife, daughter and himself, Inglewood police Sgt. Gabriela Garcia said.
Officers immediately went to the family’s apartment at 610 Arbor Vitae St., where they found the bodies of Rodriguez, Isabel Martinez-Rodriguez, 59, and Ivonne Rodriguez, 26.
They had been killed with a single gunshot, Garcia said.
Neighbors said there had been no signs of trouble with the family.
Autopsies were scheduled for this morning, said Capt. Ed Winter of the L.A. County coroner’s office.
