Levi sues over stitching design

Levi Strauss & Co. sued Wet Seal Inc., accusing the retailer of copying its trademarked pocket-stitching design.
Foothill Ranch-based Wet Seal uses pocket-stitch patterns that are “confusingly similar” to the San Francisco jeans maker’s 1873 design, according to the suit filed Nov. 20 in federal court in San Jose.
