* Tampa Bay 11, at Chicago 5: Carl Crawford hit a go-ahead run-scoring triple in the seventh inning to back Scott Kazmir (3-2), who won for the third time in 17 starts dating to last season. Ty Wigginton and Carlos Pena homered and Tampa Bay came from behind to win for the 17th time. The Devil Rays tied a season high with 15 hits, including four by B.J. Upton.
* Boston 6, at Texas 5: J.D. Drew and Mike Lowell hit run-scoring singles in the eighth inning at Arlington and the Red Sox completed a three-game sweep. Kevin Youkilis singled against Akinori Otsuka (1-1) to lead off the inning, stole second and scored on Drew’s single to tie the score, 4-4. Lowell then hit a single to left field that drove in Drew.
* at Minnesota 4, Toronto 2: Carlos Silva gave up six hits and struck out three in 7 1/3 innings at Minneapolis to end a four-game losing streak and Justin Morneau homered and drove in three runs. A.J. Burnett (5-4) gave up three hits in eight innings for the Blue Jays -- his fourth three-hit effort this season -- but made a bases-loaded throwing error to first base that cost him two runs in the third inning.
* Seattle 7, at Kansas City 4: Jarrod Washburn gave up four hits and three runs, Jose Vidro and Raul Ibanez drove in two runs each and the Mariners completed a three-game sweep. Washburn (5-4) took a one-hitter and a 6-0 lead into the sixth inning, but after a 22-minute rain delay gave up two runs, one on a wild pitch. Seattle’s Ichiro Suzuki had two singles to extend his hitting streak to 20 games, the longest current streak in the majors.
* at Baltimore 8, Oakland 4: Miguel Tejada, Melvin Mora and Nick Markakis homered for the Orioles, negating another home run by Nick Swisher of the A’s. Oakland starter Joe Blanton (4-3) had given up six homers in 67 2/3 innings before the three hit by the Orioles, who have scored eight runs in two consecutive games after going 13 games in a row without scoring as many as seven runs.
* Cleveland 5, at Detroit 3: Ryan Garko hit a three-run homer in the first inning, Casey Blake had a solo shot in the fifth and the Indians finished off a three-game sweep of the Tigers.
* Angels 4, at New York 3: John Lackey earned his major league-leading eighth victory to complete a three-game sweep of the Yankees.
