Scalpers won’t like this

TICKET scalper alert: Center Theatre Group has modified its “Hot Tix” program for the touring musical “Jersey Boys,” opening June 3 at the Ahmanson Theatre. Ordinarily, patrons may purchase these set-aside tickets -- often for extreme side or rear balcony seating -- for $20 three weeks in advance over the phone. “Hot Tix” seats for “Jersey Boys” will be made available only on the day of the performance, at the box office. (Regular-priced tickets top out at $100.)
