Endangered bat rescued and freed

Wildlife experts nursed back to health an endangered Hawaiian hoary bat after it was found lying lifeless, dehydrated and starving on a car.
A worker at a wastewater treatment plant in Kona spotted the bat, which had apparently fallen from a tree.
After three days of care, it was freed at the Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park on the Big Island.
