Re “A place to call their own,” May 7
This article clearly reflects our government’s failure to protect the identity of the United States. The objective is for immigrants to assimilate into our society. Instead, immigrants reject our values and culture and strive to bring their homeland with them.
Designating areas of our communities as Little Armenia, Koreatown, Little Ethiopia, etc., promotes division and separatist ideals.
If we do not put a stop to this practice, our city will no longer be the City of Angels. City of Foreign Lands is a more appropriate moniker.
