Suspect missing in journalist’s death
From Times Wire Reports
One of three defendants charged in the murder of a U.S. journalist in Russia has disappeared, prompting a Moscow court to postpone hearings in their retrial.
The Moscow City Court judge issued an arrest warrant for missing defendant Kazbek Dukuzov, who is accused of involvement in the killing of Paul Klebnikov, editor of Forbes magazine’s Russian edition, a court spokeswoman said.
Klebnikov, 41, was gunned down in July 2004. Many believed the killing was connected to his work investigating Russia’s shadowy business world.
