Re “Ruling in teen’s killing spurs outcry,” Jan. 11
And the city of Los Angeles cannot recruit enough people to become police officers? What fool would want to work for a city that does not back its officers?
The officer who shot Devin Brown had a split second to make his decision. I’m tired of a mayor that throws “dog and phony” shows pretending to back the Los Angeles Police Department. Councilman Greig Smith has it right: It is the Police Commission that erred in this matter.
Prospective police recruits, stay away. There are many other cities that need good officers that will back you.
