“THE Three Stooges” might be a more apropos title for the new reality show “Sons of Hollywood,” starring three members of Tinseltown’s “royalty” [“The Junior Mint,” by Robin Abcarian, Jan. 8]. “David is just a hustler” describes one, another was in “talent development” for Death Row records, plus Sean Stewart, offspring of rocker Rod Stewart, has a “big (and profane) mouth,” “a short attention span,” an “enduring propensity for nudity” and is “a recovering addict.”

Robert Sharenow, the purchaser of this inside look at young Hollywood, proudly claims the series as “a real home run” for A&E; Channel.
Former Federal Communications Commission head Newton Minnow once described TV as a “vast wasteland.” I think “Sons of Hollywood” will add considerably to the vastness.
