Band tutor accused of having sex with girl, 17

A Ventura High School band tutor was arrested Thursday on suspicion of engaging in sexual acts with one of his underage students, authorities said.
Stephen Ridley, 33, of Beverly Hills was charged with two felony counts of having illegal sex with a juvenile and booked into Ventura County Jail. His bail was set at $100,000.
Sheriff’s deputies found Ridley and the 17-year-old girl engaging in sex acts inside his parked car about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 30, officials said.
The incident allegedly took place just off Pacific Coast Highway near Mugu Rock.
