Ready to let those gripes fly
We enjoyed with special interest Jane Engle’s article “We Just Can’t Seem to Break Up With Our Flier Programs,” [Travel Insider, Feb. 18]. At the recent L.A. Times travel show in Long Beach, I noticed the absence of several major airlines, but Delta was there, so I sought out their display, mainly to gripe about the difficulty of cashing in miles. There was only one person ahead of me at their counter, and lo and behold, he was there for the very same purpose.
