Boeing to build NASA satellites

Boeing Co., the second-largest U.S. defense contractor, said it was chosen by NASA to build two communications satellites in a contract with a potential value of $1.2 billion.
The satellites will be ready for launch in 2012 and 2013, Chicago-based Boeing said. The order is valued at $695 million now and $1.2 billion if all options are exercised.
