Texans...28 Buccaneers...14

HOUSTON -- Sage Rosenfels still is perfect as the Houston Texans’ starting quarterback.
Rosenfels threw three touchdown passes to lead the Texans (6-7) to a 28-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He has won both games he has started in place of injured Matt Schaub. Rosenfels lost two fumbles, but Tampa Bay (8-5) was able to convert only one into points.
The Buccaneers could have secured the NFC South title with a victory but instead miscues and ineffectiveness led to the end of their four-game winning streak.
They started Luke McCown as Jeff Garcia missed his second consecutive game because of a bruised back. McCown was sacked four times and harassed most of the day. He completed 25 of 38 for 266 yards with no touchdowns and a fumble.
“There were some times when he needed to throw the ball away,” Buccaneers Coach Jon Gruden said of McCown.
Gruden added that Garcia should return next week.
