ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Rookie Trent Edwards’ four touchdown passes -- two each to Lee Evans and Robert Royal -- led the Buffalo Bills over the Miami Dolphins, 38-17.

The Bills (7-6) had two 100-yard rushers for the first time since 1996, with Fred Jackson picking up 115 yards and Marshawn Lynch gaining 107.

Buffalo had a season-high five sacks and forced four turnovers, including safety George Wilson’s returning rookie quarterback John Beck’s fumble 20 yards for a touchdown.

Buffalo won for the sixth time in eight games.

Rian Lindell set a Bills record by making his 18th consecutive field goal, a 51-yard effort to put Buffalo ahead, 24-7. Lindell’s string ended on his next try when he missed from 46 yards.

The Dolphins (0-13) scored 10 points in the third quarter, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the third-worst start to a season in NFL history, joining Oakland (1962) and Indianapolis (1986).
