In Contention: The In Contention column in Wednesday’s issue of The Envelope listed Randy Newman’s score for the film “Leatherheads” as a possible contender for the upcoming Oscars. “Leatherheads” is scheduled to open in April 2008, making it eligible for Oscar consideration in 2009.
