Nacco appliance unit spinoff halted

Nacco Industries Inc. won’t pursue a spinoff of its Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex unit because of volatility and uncertainty in the capital markets.
Hamilton Beach, a maker of toasters and coffee makers, will remain an operating subsidiary, Cleveland-based Nacco said.
