Delay seen in awarding of tanker pact
From Times Wire Services
The Air Force is running late in evaluating aerial refueling tanker proposals from Boeing Co. and Northrop Grumman Corp. and may not award a contract until early 2008, according to analysts, industry sources and a Pentagon official.

A contract for 179 new tankers, valued at $40 billion, had been expected in September or October.
