City prosecutors have filed charges against 32 contractors as part of a continuing enforcement effort targeting abandoned and shoddy projects, officials said Wednesday.

Rocky Delgadillo said, adding that his office’s Corruption, Fraud and Enforcement Unit filed the misdemeanor complaints as part of an ongoing joint investigation with the Contractors State License Board. The targeted contractors were allegedly operating without proper state licenses.
