President Reelected in Disputed Balloting

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh was reelected with 77% of the vote, state-run television and election officials said, in last week’s election, which opponents say was rigged.
The final count showed Saleh’s main opponent, Faisal Shamlan, a former oil minister, received about 22% the 6 million votes cast.
