Officials Report 2 New Cases of West Nile Virus

Health officials said two more residents tested positive for West Nile virus, just 10 days after the county reported its first human case of the mosquito-borne virus this year.
Both people are between 40 and 50 years old and have experienced fevers, headaches, body rashes, muscle weakness and fatigue, officials said.
The county’s first case was reported Aug. 28.
All three individuals spent time outside the county and may have contracted the disease elsewhere, officials said.
