New chorale music: “Dead Man Walking” opera composer Jake Heggie’s “Seeking Higher Ground: Bruce Springsteen Rocks New Orleans, April 30, 2006” will be premiered by the Pacific Chorale on Oct. 22 at the new Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa. The work was commissioned by the chorale.
