Waffle House sued in spitting case

A McMinnville police officer has filed an $82,500 lawsuit against the Waffle House restaurant chain and one of its former cooks, claiming the cook admitted to spitting into the officer’s food. Lt. John Morgan accused Homer Disher, 19, of spitting into his order of hash browns and eggs before serving them. Disher faces felony charges.
