Northrop to Vie for Navy Deal to Build Spy Planes

Northrop Grumman Corp. said it would compete for a Navy award, initially valued at less than $1 billion, to develop unmanned surveillance planes.
Century City-based Northrop plans to use a derivative of its Global Hawk spy plane to compete for a contract to be awarded later next year.
