Man Admits to Sexual Assault, Authorities Say

Shortly after his arrest by UC Riverside campus police, a 22-year-old Palm Springs man confessed to sexually assaulting a female student, authorities said Tuesday.
Justin Lowe was detained after returning to his car, which was parked illegally on the campus Monday.
Officers noticed his resemblance to a composite sketch of the assault suspect, according to school spokesperson Celeste Durant.
Lowe admitted to assaulting the student Oct. 3, authorities said.
Police are investigating whether he was involved in three other sexual assaults reported in August and September.
